Arimidex, with the generic name anastrozole, is a prescription medication classified as a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It is widely used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
The active ingredient in Arimidex is anastrozole. Each Arimidex tablet contains 1 mg of anastrozole, which plays a key role in its therapeutic effects.
Arimidex is commonly available in oral tablet form. The tablets are intended for oral administration and should be taken as directed by a healthcare professional.
Arimidex belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group of antineoplastic and immunomodulating agents, specifically aromatase inhibitors (ATC code: L02BG03).
Anastrozole inhibits aromatase, an enzyme involved in the production of estrogen. By suppressing estrogen synthesis, Arimidex helps manage hormone receptor-positive breast cancer by reducing estrogen levels in postmenopausal women.
Arimidex is indicated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It is also used for the treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women who have not responded to tamoxifen.
The dosage of Arimidex is typically one tablet taken once a day. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and administration schedule provided by a healthcare professional.
Arimidex is not cycled in the traditional sense, as it is a continuous treatment for breast cancer. The duration of treatment is determined by the healthcare provider based on individual patient needs.
Arimidex is not associated with post-cycle therapy in the bodybuilding context. Its use is specific to breast cancer treatment, and the duration is determined by the oncologist.
Common side effects of Arimidex may include hot flashes, joint pain, weakness, and mood changes. Serious side effects, although rare, may include bone thinning and an increased risk of fractures.
Arimidex is contraindicated in premenopausal women, individuals with known hypersensitivity to anastrozole, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
In case of an overdose, medical attention should be sought immediately. There is no specific antidote, and treatment is generally supportive.
Women with osteoporosis or at risk of bone thinning should be closely monitored during Arimidex treatment. Regular bone density assessments may be recommended.
Certain medications may interact with Arimidex, including estrogen-containing products. It is crucial to inform the healthcare provider of all medications being taken.
100 tablets in sachet.
Arimidex should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture. It should be kept out of reach of children.
Arimidex is a prescription medication and is subject to regulatory controls to ensure proper use under medical supervision. It is not available over-the-counter and should only be used as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.
Arimidex is available for secure and discreet delivery to the USA through authorized supplier - Steroid.biz.

Been using for the past 4-5 weeks when my left nip starts bothering me I take one tab every other day until my symptom subsides So far all I needed was 2-3 doses each time so far. Looked a little leaner from the shedding of the water retention from testosterone.
